The Oud course at the Saudi Music Hub is designed to guide you to become a soloist on the stage and learn how to play this central instrument of the Arabic musical tradition. The curriculum is built to help you to join the musical scene in the region. From Grade 1 to Grade 3, you will learn a wide spectrum of techniques and styles that are related to the Arabic Oud tradition. Learners that are interested in this area will have the possibility to play a central role in the preservation of the Saudi musical heritage.

Level 1
Learners will be able to acquire skills by:
- Defining control of the instrument and its tuning.
- Playing prescribed technical requirements of elementary maqam basics.
- Performing repertoire of elementary musical and technical demands.
- Enhancing knowledge of the different elementary Arabic music theories.
- Demonstrating ear training skills and improvisation at elementary demand levels.
Level 2
Learners will be able to acquire skills by:

- Demonstrating skills in improvisation at intermediate demand levels.
Level 4
Learners will be able to acquire skills by:
