The strings family of instruments is integral part of many genres of music from classical to pop,  and it’s in the core of our musical heritage. These instruments include the violin, viola, cello,  and double bass, and each one has its own unique sound and character. This workshop is  aimed to provide you with an in-depth understanding of the string's family of instruments,  and to give you an opportunity to learn, play and perform together.

The workshop will cover the history, technique, and performance of the instruments as well  as hands-on learning experience, access to the instruments and performance opportunities  for participants, allowing them to showcase their skills and to gain experience performing in  front of the audience.

===========

“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my  daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music ... I cannot tell if I would have done any  creative work of importance in music, but I do know that I get most joy in life out of my  violin.”

― Albert Einstein
