Vocals are at the upfront of any contemporary song, and a song whose vocals are well-mixed tends to stay in the minds of the audiences long after listening. And using Pro Tools, the attendee shall learn how to track, polish and mix his/her vocals in a jargon-free manner, so as to make the vocals (and the song itself) sparkle, while learning to craft demo vocal masters for music labels as well.
Workshop Objective:
Using Pro Tools, the attendee shall learn how to track, tune, and mix his/her vocals, using native plugins as well as industry-standard third party plugins from Waves and iZotope, and learn to apply the vocal mix chain no matter the genre of vocal performance, and improving one's critical listening by comparing mixes with references in the public domain.
