“Fundamentals of Violin Playing for Beginners”


This workshop aims to introduce participants to the essential stages of learning to play the violin in a simple and progressive manner, covering both Eastern and Western approaches. It begins with the basic handling of the instrument and gradually develops the learner’s ability to perform short musical passages.


Workshop Description:


This workshop offers a step-by-step learning method designed to help participants understand the structure of the violin, the correct posture and instrument hold, bowing technique, and how to produce a clean and stable sound. The sessions include practical exercises and training methods that support learners in developing their skills gradually in an enjoyable and organized way.


Workshop Objectives:

Identify the components and basic mechanics of the violin.

Understand the correct way to hold the violin and the bow.

Practice bowing techniques to produce clear and straight tones.

Learn basic music-reading skills for beginners.

Acquire the ability to play short musical phrases with increasing difficulty.

Strengthen musical ear-training and rhythm skills.

Build confidence in individual performance.

Music beginners, students at the elementary and intermediate levels, and individuals interested in learning to play the violin through a structured and accessible approach.
