It's a practical, hands-on workshop where participants learn how to build, edit, and save their own rhythmic and melodic loops from MIDI and audio inside Logic Pro, then reuse them creatively in different projects. This includes using the Loop Browser, shaping regions to loop cleanly, and exporting custom Apple Loops for a personal library.
Learning outcomes (by the end, participants can):
Navigate Logic’s interface for loop-based work (Tracks Area, Loop Browser, region inspector).
Create basic drum, bass, and melodic patterns with MIDI and audio that loop seamlessly on the grid.
Trim, quantize, and fade audio regions so that loops start and end cleanly with no clicks.
Use region looping (dragging the top-right corner) and cycle loop to repeat sections and build simple arrangements.
Change loop key and tempo to fit a project without losing musical timing.
Save custom MIDI and audio regions as Apple Loops and organize them in a reusable library.
Layer multiple loops to create full 8–16 bar sections (verse, chorus, drop).
Apply basic processing (EQ, compression, reverb, delay) to make loops sit well together in a mix.
Use loop-based workflows to sketch ideas quickly, then expand them into full song structures.
Export short loop ideas (stems or bounces) to share with collaborators or move into other sessions.
