Saudi Music Hub, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain, presents a focused masterclass with internationally acclaimed Spanish guitarist Rafael Serrallet. A Guinness World Records–recognized artist who has performed across all seven continents in a single year, Serrallet brings decades of concert and teaching experience to an intensive session for students, teachers, and guitar music fans.
Objectives
Deepen participants guitar technique (posture, fingering, tonal articulation)
Develop interpretive insight: how to convey musical narrative, emotional nuance and stylistic authenticity in solo guitar performance.
Explore repertoire-expansion: engage with selected works (classical, Spanish/Latin heritage, modern) and learn approaches to stylistic variation and personalising interpretation.
Encourage peer learning and feedback: participants will observe each other, receive masterclass critique from the prof. Serrallet
Inspire cross-cultural musical awareness: through Serrallet’s global experience, participants will reflect on how guitar music travels, adapts and connects across cultures
