In the mainstream realm, music producers have long remained behind the scenes - tethered to studios and backstage roles. And now it’s time for producers to take the stage, transforming production into real-time performance. This session explores production and electronic music as a live art form, where creating and performing happen simultaneously. Using Ableton Live, attendees will learn to turn the computer into a dynamic instrument - one that enhances vocals, supports live instruments, and brings the producer to the forefront of the performance.
Workshop Objective:
To equip the attendee with the powerful features of Ableton Live, both from performance and production perspectives, to demonstrate real-time quantization, and to stress upon the fact that all a live-producer needs is a laptop in order to create and perform music in real-time.
