Basic Playing Techniques for the Nay Instrument (Part Two)
This workshop consists of two sections:
Theoretical: Understanding the musical scale, explaining some basic maqamat (musical modes) in Arabic music, and their constituent parts.
Practical: Playing the main maqamat on the Nay instrument.
