Basic Playing Techniques for the Nay Instrument (Part One)

The Saudi Music hub in Al Khobar presents the first introductory and educational workshop for the Nay instrument.

The workshop is divided into two sections.

1- a theoretical section where we discuss the history of the Nay instrument, its primary role in Arabic music, performance of various musical compositions, and the most important schools of this instrument.
2- practical section, we practice holding the instrument correctly, producing the first musical sound, and getting acquainted with the sound and tonal range of the Nay instrument.
