Since ancient times, the Ney has held a special place in Arabic music. It’s warm, expressive voice touches our feelings and stirs our feelings. For this reason, Ney was used in various types of Arabic music, from folklore to classical music. On this evening, Hussein Al-Jahmani will present to you a repertoire of beautiful musical pieces and songs that represent various Arab and Eastern cultures. You will travel with him from the Levant to Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula,
all through the enchanting tones of the Ney. Hussein Al-Jahmani, a musician and an instructor specialized in playing Ney, holds a master’s degree in musical arts from the University of Jordan and has high technical experience and competence.
